We
are considered to be "well" when body, mind and spirit
are in ideal balance. We are not well when imbalance exists and
balance cannot be restored. Each individual would benefit from
the development of a personal wellness plan. There's no right
or wrong way to formulate the plan. just remember that whatever
works for you is for you.
Wellness
is about the whole person, we are supposed to be well. Our bodies
will recognize the best process. Often, the simpler the program
the better it is. Wellness has a domino effect. Simple alterations
in lifestyle can create a chain reaction throughout one's entire
life. It is necessary to commit only to a few carefully planned
lifestyle alterations and then to allow the rest of the "pieces"
of our lives to fall in place.
Making
a change to wellness takes determination and action. Letting go
of behavioral patterns is difficult. Along with family the massage
professional can be an important support for the person making
wellness changes in their life.
Wellness
is living life in a simple, gentle, respectful way - for ourselves
and with others. Wellness is the result of the healing that takes
place on multiple levels when we take care of ourselves.
Wellness
is peace within and sharing that peace in simple ways. Sharing
this peace consistently with respect and compassion can support
the wellness of us all and provide peace for our world.
